4th Divan Arabic Book Fair 2026

The Divan — The Arab House of Culture invites you to the fourth edition of the Divan Arabic Book Fair enter Estrel Berlin.

Three days are dedicated to Arabic literature, knowledge and culture. Authors, scientists, translators, publishers and representatives of cultural institutions from the Arab world and Germany are expected.

The program includes the Riwaq Prize for Science and Culture 2026 as well as the closing event of the series “Treasures of Knowledge — Arabic Manuscripts in Dialogue”.

Other events focus on Arabic-German translation and the role of book fairs in cultural exchange. The guests also include the Saudi writer Abdo Khal, winner of the International Prize for Arabic Fiction.

In addition, the program is dedicated to Qatar's maritime cultural heritage, Arabic poetry, digital literature and contemporary publishing.

The fourth Divan Arabic Book Fair thus offers a diverse program of literature, knowledge, translation and cultural exchange between the Arab world and Germany.
