The previous spokesperson for the Croatian Embassy in Berlin, Ivan Marić, will in future be responsible for the communication of his country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. From June 10, the 34-year-old will take on the job of spokesperson for the Ministry in Zagreb. Marić worked in Berlin for two and a half years and is considered an excellent expert on Germany. He studied English, German and political science in Augsburg, among others, with a scholarship from the Free State of Bavaria. During the German and Croatian EU Council Presidencies in 2020, he served as a Croatian Liaison Officer at the Federal Foreign Office.
