In the exhibition “A Common Room in a Changing World,” the Danish Embassy shows how democracy lives in Denmark — openly, enthusiastically and collaboratively. The workshop exhibition invites you to learn more about Danish community culture and take a look behind the scenes of the well-known Danish political festivals “Folkemøder” and Danish adult education centers “Folkehøjskoler” — places of exchange and participation. Whether in the debate arena or at the big “Democracy Dinner” table, participation is welcome in the exhibition. “A Common Room in a Changing World” will be shown as part of the Danish EU Council Presidency.
